CDL Class A Driver

We are currently searching for a CDL Class A Driver to transport soiled and clean textiles to and from hospitals. This is a full time position (Approx. 40/hrs week), rotating routes departing from our Bellingham facility and making deliveries to medical facilities in the evening/night. This includes the unloading of clean Medical Linen Carts to customer facilities and loading carts of dirty linen and transport back to the Bellingham facility for processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow documented or other procedures as stated from all customers for the purpose of unloading and loading clean and soiled textiles

Maintain a safe driving record and to be in good standing with all government entities that regulate such to be able to maintain a CDL
Report all moving violations while performing NWHCL duties
Inform management of any changes to the employees “Long Form Physical”
Report all defects, accidents to management as soon as feasible and log such on the NWHCL’s Daily Trip Record
Log time for either off duty or driving on Drivers Daily Log form
Perform duties in accordance with NWHCL’s driving standards

Personal Protection Equipment (Universals Precautions)
Safety Manual policies and procedures
Quality Assurance program.
Employee hand book policies
Policies and procedures as related to TRSA Hygienically Clean program
