Positions Available:

Laundry Sorter – $19.75 per hour
FT Shift: 5am – 3:30pm – 4 10hr shifts

Essential duties are to sort soiled linen that is moving on a conveyor belt into the appropriate bags for laundering.

Order Fulfillment – $19.25 per hour

FT Shift: 7am -3:30pm or 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Essential duties are to accurately pack product/orders according to customer requirements. Orders are filled by counting or scanning the products and placing them on rolling carts, shrink wrapping or bagging for delivery

Production/Bedding – $18.66 per hour
FT Shift:7am – 3:30pm, 12pm – 8:30pm

Essential duties include quality control inspection of linens while processing items in preparation for delivery.

Wearing Apparel – $19.00 per hour First Shift–$19.25 per hour Second Shift

FT Shift: 6am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm

Essential duties include quality control inspection of garments while hanging garment in preparation for delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Follow all Northwest Health Care Linen programs as followed:
    • Bloodborne Pathogens
    • Exposure Control Plan
    • Personal Protection Equipment (Universals Precautions)
    • Safety Manual policies and procedures
    • Quality Assurance program
    • Time Management System and related programs
    • Employee handbook policies
  2. Operating a variety of automatic equipment for the purpose of pressing and folding textiles
  3. Hand folding the necessary textiles that can’t be automatically folded
  4. Clean up work your station following proper cleaning procedure at the completion of your workday, putting all miscellaneous linens to proper locations
  5. Performs other duties as required by management

Relief Driver & Account Manager

We are currently searching for a full time Route Relief Driver to join our team. This individual will learn and provide relief coverage, provide outstanding customer service, delivering and managing customer inventories, while also maintaining customer relationships. This will require excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This includes following procedures as stated from all customers for the purpose of unloading and loading clean and soiled textiles. This individual must also maintain a safe driving record and be at least 21 years of age.

Primary Responsibilities

This is a full time position, approx. 40/hours a week with potential for over time.  As a Relief Driver the schedule will fluctuate depending on assignment/route/task being performed, from early morning routes, day routes and some evening assignments.  The routes include service areas from Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce and Island counties.  While not covering a route for personnel who are scheduled off, the Relief Driver will continue to train on routes with Account Managers in order to remain current with route details, logistics and changes.

Working Conditions

  • Driving 24ft box truck to make deliveries and to pick up soiled linen
  • Operate a lift gate
  • Must have the ability to consistently lift 50+lbs and to move and maneuver heavy linen carts
  • Willingness to work around and handle soiled medical linen

We are currently searching for a full time Yard Jockey/Truck Loader.

Essential duties include but are not limited to moving 24′ box trucks and tractor trailers/semi’s into loading docks and to load and unload carts of linen from the trucks.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE TOWING OR MOVING ANY TYPE OF TRUCK, TRAILER, RV OR BOAT.

There are two full time positions available (Approx. 40/hours week),

Position #1 is Tuesday through Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and

Position #2 is Monday through Friday 1:00pm until close.

Each truck is loaded according to load sheets/delivery schedule.

Delivery Driver – CDL Class A

We are currently searching for a CDL Class A Driver to transport clean and soiled textiles to and from hospitals. This is a FULL TIME position (Approx. 40/hrs week), rotating routes departing from our Bellingham facility and making deliveries to medical facilities in the evening/night. Route departure times leaving Bellingham range from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, running a 8 hour shift down to the Greater Seattle Area and back to Bellingham. This includes the unloading of clean Medical Linen Carts to customer facilities and loading carts of soiled linen and transporting them back to the Bellingham facility for processing.

  • No minimum driving experience required

Human Resources Generalist

Northwest Health Care Linen is seeking a Human Resources Generalist/Executive Admin to oversee a full range of human resource programs.

The HR Generalist will work in all areas of Human Resources operations, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, training, policy development and HRIS maintenance. This role will interact with all areas of the company and requires strong interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • General HR Administration. Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs; compensation, benefits, leaves; background checks, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance & talent management; productivity, recognition; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Recruitment, Hiring & Onboarding. Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding and orientation.
  • Personnel Documentation & Compliance. Maintains compliance with employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices. Develop and review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Employee Relations. Investigate, resolve, and communicate employee questions, issues, and/or concerns.
  • Benefits Administration. New hire orientation and enrollment, annual open enrollment, and termination administration.
  • Payroll Administration. Process bi-weekly payroll.
  • Workers Compensation Administration. Manages claims including communications with the Department of Labor, coordinating light-duty/return to work programs, OSHA monitoring and reporting.
  • DOT Drug Testing. Ensure accurate roster. Enroll and schedule candidates into random drug testing.
  • Employee Engagement. Support employee activities that enhance engagement and satisfaction (e.g., staff activities/events, recognition programs, facilitating site communications, etc.)
  • General Executive Administrative Support. General admin support to Executive Team as needed (e.g., meeting support, misc. AP/AR support, etc.).
  • Customer Service. Demonstrate excellent customer service; resolve issues in a timely manner; communicate to ensure alignment and satisfaction; operate with customers’ best interests in mind.
  • General Administration. Assist in general office administration work; answer phones; data entry and reporting.
